On June 9, 2025, The Book of Rugs was launched on Ape.Store — and true to its name, it was rugged immediately by the original dev. Like any good prophecy, it began with betrayal.

But then something unusual happened.

Instead of dying quietly like most rugs, the community saw the potential.

A CTO rose from the ashes (probably sleep-deprived and meme-powered), and a real project — one dripping with irony, meta-awareness, and unshakable degen spirit — took form.

Two days later (three maybe?), the phoenix flew. We bonded to Uniswap, to the Base chain, and the real journey began. We rose to $270K in MC in less than 24 hours.
